Welcome to Sarah Davidson’s website. I am a PhD student in the Department of Plant Biology at
Cornell University, studying at the interface of plant biology and science communication. For my thesis, I am researching the controversy surrounding genetically engineered papaya in Hawaii and abroad. I spent the past year (Aug 2006-2007) traveling to Thailand, Bangladesh, China and Mexico researching this issue through the Dreer Award granted by the Department of Horticulture at Cornell. For anecdotes from my journey,
check out my blog.
